Owner Garry has been frying fish and chips for over 25 years, starting in Paignton before moving to Brixham in 2004. The business prides itself on traditional methods—they peel and cut their own potatoes and make fresh mushy peas every day, using only the best ingredients.

What makes this spot particularly convenient is that you have three options in one location: a takeaway counter for grabbing food on the go, a ground-floor café serving Brixham’s best breakfasts and homemade cream teas, and a 90-seat first-floor licensed restaurant with stunning harbour views. From the restaurant, you can watch the ferry boats arrive from Torquay, see the busy fishing port in action, and even spot the Golden Hind replica ship—if you are lucky, you might see dolphins or seals.
